hi every one,i want to merge the .csv data with .indd using javascript,and get final merged document as .indd.so anyone can give me the script for the above application .waiting for your replies.its urgent for me please.:)

Create your body document than Window > Automation > Data Merge. Use the flyout to select your data file. (Csv works best IMO. Your data file cannot be open and ID can be buggy. Occasionally I've had to open and Save As .csv if ID complains or will not recognize it.)
With the text cursor in position double click a data field from the Data Merge panel to place the field.

Are you creating a multiple page document with one set of records per page or wanting multple records per page?; your "Create Merged Document" steps will be dictated by that choice.

If you are looking for multiple records per page, or a list, you may just want to place an Excel document as a table.

I go pretty fast, hope this helps.
