I still use InDesign 2 for occasional design documents. Recently some printers have been asking for hi resolution PDF files, rather than InDesign native output. However, when I put InDesign output file into Acrobat Distiller (Acrobat Professional 7) it creates errors.
Could someone point me towards an article on creating hi res PDFs from InDesign 2 files?
Are you using InDesign 2 or InDesign CS2 (which is actually version 4)? You really cannot go wrong with a pdf exported from ID. Export from ID, as either "Press" or "PDFx1a" option. It sounds like you are saving to postscript and running thru Distiller which works great, but adds some steps. If distiller errors there will be a log file and the reason in the Distiller pane. Upon a fresh install of Distiller, I usually have to point to the font folders. More info is needed as to your errors, ID version, OS
