Hello all,

I am doing feasibility/compare study between InMath, PowerMath and MathMagic. Just need to decide which one we should use across the organization. So I thought of taking views of experts on this before testing myself. As of now we are using InMath and PowerMath, but I have been going thru the features of the MathMagic and seems to be promising.

Moreover I've noticed that PowerMath has not developed for CS4 as of now. Any inputs will be the great help to this.

Pankaj

    Dear Mr. Pankaj,

I am not sure if you are on MAC or PC platform. PowerMath is available only on MAC platform. I presume you are presently working on MAC.

I think the best approach depends on the volume you have on hand. If you are using 3b2 I guess you must be having a team of TeX/LaTeX coders. In this environ, I think keying equations in TeX /LaTeX and converting the same to EPS / WMFthrough Mathtype could be a better option. You can place equations as eps / wmf in indd.

I am studying Math Magic and its feasibility as well.

I would like to know if it is possible to capture equations in TeX/LaTeX from Power Math. If this is possible then I feel inter operability will have better options.
